Model Tests (EVR RX and HL RX)

Hi,

I have model tests coming up for HL RX and EVR RX (4 hr and 2hr, respectively) - it is noted to expect a 3 statement model + recaps (D4E/D4D) + toggles for scenarios + small Q&A memo for both. Does anyone have experience doing these and able to connect/offer advice or practice exams? Would note this is for Europe teams but any help is greatly appreciated.

Its usually a LBO from scratch based on an OM since this guarantees a good set of infos, a bit of thinking the case through and tests your judgement on a BP. Given username I imagine that you have a levfin background and usually you are more focused on cash flows?

Thanks for the response. Yes definitely more focused on cash flows. I know that model tests are typically LBOs for PC/PE but my impression was that it wouldn't be likely to see an LBO on a restructuring model test, especially if its noted that debt for debt and debt for equity exchanges are involved as scenarios. Are you in restructuring by any chance?

I am not but thinking about the transition. Its what I heard from friends that usually its rather an LBO to see the basics if the scenario is like described above. Then there are more simplified cases (1-2 hours) where you rather think about the impact of an exchange, swap etc. but you dont focus on complex modeling. I dont want to rule out that this might be happening as well but did not come across this scenario.

Can I ask what you background is, are you working in a LevFin Team that is modeling a lot?
