Several have made the move from LA to NY, so the opposite should be possible as well. Probably a case by case situation and depends on the office’s demand. Nowadays, I believe the LA office is in need of more people.
Can you elaborate? Haven’t seen Moelis had lateral postings for a while
Not sure how the process worked, so can’t be very helpful there. They put a significant value on referrals though, but tbh not very familiar with how lateral recruiting works.
That’s accurate. They are not bringing in any laterals at this point. As far as I know they brought in a few for the very first time two months ago or smth
What about Houston to LA?
Yes, after doing well for a year or so you can try to move around. Give them the demand for analysts this shouldn’t be a prob. Luckily, Moelis is good in every city
