Most difficult comments to turn?

Incoming intern here who knows nothing. I often see people post that turning comments is mind numbing. I am wondering what specific comments or requests analysts can receive that are difficult to turn on a deck. What parts of a deck are more difficult than others? Or is it all just monkey shit work that is mind numbing? Cheers

The comments that require a lot more work done.

i.e. simple text changes are mind numbing, but simple to do. Adding in a page analysing a real estate portfolio and pension deficit is not as quick.

This is so circumstantial but I would say it’s not always the comments themselves that suck but it’s the number of turns, having your VP make you add a complex slide just for the MD to tell you to delete it.

the good thing is most weird analytical slides or charts or landscapes you get asked to do have precedents (no matter how weird of an ask it’s usually because they’ve seen it before and not something they thought of themselves)

For my summer internship, the hard part about turning comments is the lack of context and clarity. Especially as an intern it was hard to understand the big picture or even what’s done normally. You can almost always reach out to the analyst for an explanation.
