Hey I started in a role being a Corporate Development Analyst out of college at a major insurance company in NY. I am getting a lot of deal experience (5-7) but mostly focused around insurance. My whole team consists of ex-bankers from BB and said they would help with networking. After a year or so I want to move into a bank doing mergers and acquisitions for clients instead of a corporation. I am wondering how it could be done or anything I should prepare for a head of time. So TLDR how to move from Corp Dev M&A to Bank M&A?
