Negotiating a BB Offer?
Does anybody know if you can negotiate a BB offer? Tomorrows offer day at the firm and I was wondering if you can only negotiate with another offer in hand.

Negotiate for what? If you are a first year and trying to negotiate compensation that’s basically a “no go” at US based banks. Banks will stick to their first year base, no incentive for them to pay one person more than another.

Yes you can. Ask for signing bonus upfront and your associate's EOY bonus while you're at it. They have to give it to you because they can't risk losing such a valuable analyst asset to a competitor bank. You got all the leverage man go use it.
