Nepo @ Goldman (Williams College)

Background intern at BB from HYPSM

I heard from a buddy of mine a week ago talking about how most of the Goldman kids from Williams are nepo (kids of clients, friends are MDs, so on and so forth)/diversity.

This isn't a new thing, obviously Goldman is known for some amount of nepotism. But what I heard is MOST (90%+) are nepo or diversity. Now is this true since Goldman IB placement out of Williams matches Yale/Princeton?

Also seems like very little EB placement or MS/JP placement relative to GS and a lot of Gugg/Citi. Not sure what that implies as well

As a Williams kid who just went through recruiting... Yes Majority nepo, but the actually qualified people got EB and other BB offers. There are some some non nepo GS recruits every year.

TBH I cannot imagine it is much different at other schools, network early and often and Williams is probably one of the easiest schools to land GS from (0 techs in the interviews)
