At an EB. I was happy to chat earlier in the cycle but now it’s too late to be productive with interviews/offers already going out. Nothing that I can change now.

Also, I’m not gonna lie but I’d say about 80% of the emails I get from kids are the most deranged retarded emails I’ve ever seen ripped straight from ChatGPT. Is it really that hard to attach your resume & say you’d love to chat b/c (school, major, interest, some niche, etc?) in like 2-3 sentences?

I got some email from some kid a few days ago that was a multi-paragraph explanation about some random deal he saw and my thoughts on it. Who is reading that & wants to respond other than some equally autistic analyst? People take these chats as a way to give back and take a small break from work.

Stern senior. Respectfully worry about something else. It’s peak recruiting season they will only be worried about sophomores emailing. There is probably .01% chance anyone wants to talk to you rn. Your time is better spent trying to find something for the summer.

Also it’s nuts you posted this at 2:30 am. There is no reason for you to be on WSO that late freshman year. Go party or do something more fun.
