Networking to get from ops to FO
Always wondered what the trick to networking was? Especially trying to specifically network in a location hundreds of miles away? Currently interning in an Ops role in a southern state this summer at a BB and was definitely interested in trying other positions in the bank that I feel I would enjoy. From NYC originally so it would be great to get the chance to go back home. Still have next summer to intern before I graduate so I am really motivated to continue to build my network. I usually have decent luck reaching out to alumni, but I am not sure exactly how to follow up once I reach out. Just looking for any advice honestly, thanks!
