some of these tools look interesting but does any of your banks actually pay for them? hard to see this happening at my bank
im no longer in IB, but I personally still pay for bamsec (lifesaver) and my bank paid for pitchbook. memofi actually seems very helpful as well but wasn't around back in the day. there is usually an IB business manager that you can convince to buy seat subscriptions but never tried myself..
I was able to convince my team to advocate paying for a new tool at a BB bank. If you want your bank to pay for something you need to spread the word and mention it to MDs so they can escalate to business managers themselves. For some reason people actually listen to MDs vs. analysts. They ended up expensing it to clients... which is humor⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
