Nomura 2021 IBD SA
What does the IB SA 2021 recruitment timeline for Nomura look like and when is the application deadline?
On their IB 2021 Job post, it says "Apply now for your application to be reviewed on a rolling basis through May 3rd. Applications will reopen in July for fall recruitment".
I'm not sure why Nomura has two different timelines and their application deadline is just confusing, so if any one has any insights, that would be appreciated.

I think they are still recruiting. I was told by a VP that HR has been busy with interns but to expect them to reach out soon. Unclear when soon is exactly
I received a first round call from a VP last week. It took around 15 min since he was busy and had to turn in recommendations to HR ASAP. He said that HR was overwhelmed and that he couldn’t offer me an specific timeline. So I guess that I am taking my other offer then. But I can confirm that recruiting is still happening.
Pretty sure they are still recruiting. I did my first round on Wednesday and received an invite for the final round today.

Non-target, International. Haven't heard back despite employee referral for NYC IBD. Any updates from anyone within the process? Are they still recruiting?
Similar position. International - got a referral from MD and associates but still haven't heard anything
Do they not sponsor anymore? A recruiter reached out to me to speak on the phone and then ghosted me by never showing up to the call or replying to my emails afterwards. That was so freaking weird.

I had my superday today -- they gave me 2 day notice

My first round was Aug 20th -- I didn't apply I don't think, a banker reached out and threw me into a screening call last minute lol (never networked with the firm)

Superday went well, haven’t heard back — It’s only been only been day and now it’s a long weekend!

got a friend who works there. their deadline is the last day of September.
Did they say how many spots are left?
You better ask Nomura recruiters. I've heard that many declined their offers because got into more prestigious banks.
