NYS: Pre-Hire Drug Screen - Cannabis discrimination?
Haven't seen one of these threads in a while; I was offered a job @ JEF. I'm now req'd to do a pre-hire drug screen, 5-panel, which includes cannabis. NYS DOL says employers can't discriminate based on the presence of cannabis in a urine analysis test. Should I be overly concerned? I partake recreationally, but not heavily, and pretty much only after work hours during the work week and on weekends. Thoughts? Experiences? Opinions? I've got 2 weeks til the test is due, wanted to gather some intel/input from the forums. I've abstained for several days now and am detoxing. Some home tests read negative, others have been positive. What say you, apes?
