Oily skin and bad acne after starting fulltime

Anyone else dealing with this? My acne has just flared up considerably since hitting the desks in July. Is the cause stress, lack of sleep, diet? Anyone know how to unfck my face?

My dude washing you're face 2-3 times a day will cause even MORE breakouts than reduce it. He'll dry up his face with all the face wash he'll be using causing his pores to create more oil than is necessary and he'll break out even more. once a day MAX and best to do it at night.

Lmao @ people suggesting Accutane. The potential side effects are so extreme to where doctors make you read and sign this booklet required by the government because of how bad the sides can get. Only worth it if you have serious, cystic acne that'll scar your face.

But yeah other than that everyone else is spot on. Foods like carrot, spinach, kale, sweet potatoes are really good for your skin and gives it that "glow." Avoid high glycemic foods, water only, wash bedsheets.

I got you brah. I suffered with really oily skin and break outs when i first started working too but I have the solution and links to products that I used everyday.

  1. DRINK TONS OF WATER. I'm talking 32oz minimum per day. If you have to get up and piss every 5 mins, it'll be all worth it cuz you'll be handsome (no homo ;) ) Get yourself a Nalgene and fill it up with a ton of water from the office cooler. https://www.amazon.com/Nalgene-Tritan-Mouth-BPA-Free-Bottle/dp/B001NCDE…
  2. MOISTURIZE YOUR FACE. Moisture is the number 1 thing that helps to block excess oil from arising in your face and pores and helps keep your skin hydrated, preventing future break outs. I personally use this moisturizer and have been happy as hell with it: https://www.amazon.com/MARLOWE-Moisturizer-Lightweight-Ingredients-Anti…
  3. WASH YOUR FACE WITH A TRUSTED CLEANSER. Throughout the day your face gets sweaty, oily, and dirt gets into your pores. You need to wash your face minimum once a day and imo best to do it at night. I use this face wash: https://www.amazon.com/LOreal-Paris-Skincare-Energetic-Cleanser/dp/B016…
  4. EXFOLIATE YOUR FACE: You face just like the rest of your body sheds skin, it's just with your face you can't exactly scrub it with a brush or loofa as that will cause irritation and lead to more break outs. So the solution to this is to use an exfoliator that goes incredibly well with your skin. Also unlike face wash, you should only exfoliate ONCE A WEEK. More than that and you'll dry up your face and it will lead to even more break outs. I personally use this brand and it gives me a chill tingly sensation when I use it in the shower: https://www.amazon.com/Body-Shop-Squeaky-Clean-Exfoliating-Scrub/dp/B00…
  5. EAT MORE BEETS. Yes surprisingly, beats are incredibly good for not only your body but your face. I started putting beats in my fruit/vegetable juices and my skins has cleared up even more. They're incredibly good for you and will definitely help your face out.
  6. STOP EATING TRASH. Try to cook home food and take it with you to office. You won't be getting any gains or clear skin when you eat the garbage from dollar pizza or whatever seamless restaurant you go to. Eat a bunch of fruits and veggies, and grill your meats not fry them. Not only will your skin thank you, your body will too and you'll even lose weight.
  7. TRY TO CUT AS MUCH SUGAR OUT. This is pretty hard especially in the US since sugar is pretty much in all of our processed foods, so you guessed it, try to eat as much food from home too. But this goes even further than that. Going out for drinks or coffee? Order a low sugar coffee or a low sugar beverage. Finance has a drinking heavy culture so it's inevitable that you'll end up at a bar with work friends or at a networking event. Get a vodka soda or whatever else and your skin will thank you.
  8. HIT THE GYM AND GET SWOLE. Stress is a huge factor in causing breakouts, and one of the best ways to lose stress as a dude is to hit the gym and get jacked. Exercising for at least 30 mins with weights/calisthenics will help you not only get fit and healthy but will help lower your stress and will clear your skin. It's important you make time for it.

Hope this helps KING!
