Oldest analyst you’ve seen in BB?
As title suggests, What's the oldest BB analyst you've ever seen? Both entering new, lateralling in, or finishing their stint as an analyst just prior to exit/going to associate?

Career Resources
I know a few 30+ year olds at EB’s but they were military
They fit in well?I was in medical school and started my own RE investment firm with $6MM in assets now. Just landed IB analyst position at Canadian Big 5 very strong group and want to lateral to BB ASAP for exit opps to go HF. Learned late I love finance. Could scrub resume to appear 2-3 yrs younger. Think I'll be fine at least age wise ?
So you already landed the role but are considering scrubbing your resume to appear younger? Wouldn't it be too late as they would have already seen your resume?
Regarding the age, you'll be fine as long as you can take constructive criticism well and dont mind learning from people younger than you. Sounds like you've had an impressive career already.
I got into an IB program at a reputable group in Canada, where there is far more laxness wrt candidate age/WE/pedigree.
I know the US is far, far more structured and rigorous. So, my plan is to leverage this position to try and lateral to a BB, in Toronto or the US if possible (I have a decently strong connection to two BBs in the US), but to do so, I want to scrub my age and graduation date a bit to make me appear a bit younger. I believe ageism is a way bigger thing in the US with its highly structured pathways and programs.
I already took five years for my undergrad, so I can say "class of XXX" and reduce a year, but I'm wondering if I can remove my graduation year altogether, remove my first year of non-relevant work experience, and skip right to me cofounding my own real estate investment firm and then make myself appear 2-3 years younger, which I believe will be more palatable to BB IBs as a transfer with some experience already in IB.
30 years old, served in the military. Got his degree after his stint then joined the firm.
Fit in well?
Is the lack of ageism reserved strictly for vets or all with unique backgrounds?
I was in medical school and started my own REPE with $6Mm in AUM currently. Taught me I love finance, landed strong group IB analyst at Canadian big 5, want to lateral to BB ASAP for exit opps. now.
Saw a non military 28 year old analyst where I interned
