Outlook with Mamdani?

Probably have to endure a few years of higher taxes and crime before the firm moves to Florida… stinks but better in the long run… move space for activities.

Likelihood is NYC can mask fiscal issues for a couple years - repercussions are going to be in the next ten years when NYC staring at $100 billion in tax revenue and $200 billion in outflows. People who would vote against those policies leave, straining the tax base and emboldening those in power to spend more, tax more, etc. Same cycle as seen in Baltimore

It will continue to be the financial hub of the world.

People totally miss the big picture.. a bunch of housing initiatives also passed.. so more likely than not and barring a recession you will see a lot of new construction starts in the next few years.. which is what a good chunk of people that voted for Mamdami wanted.
