Perks for Summer Analysts
Hello Everyone, I am an incoming summer analyst at a BB in NYC this summer. I was wondering when would we find out if we get some of the perks that bankers get? I am referring to money for dinner, rides home after x:xxpm, etc. I am hesitant to ask HR.
For reference, my internship is in person.

Jefferies is giving everyone dinner stipend up to 25 dollars after 6pm, 4 times a week. Also sent everyone gifts but we don’t know what those are yet. My group also gave me a vest.

Nah it’s 6pm (that surprised me, too, so I double checked).
Same guy who said 6pm. I actually just checked again and it’s 6:30 pm (atleast in the guidelines doc. that I was sent.).
Also, Uber/Lyft comped after 9 pm.

You should take advantage of the free overnight sleeping arrangement in the office IMO, you'll save a ton on rent
They'll tell you the exact hours at training
They will tell you at training, but if you want, feel free to ask HR - if you are scared it'll affect your FT chances, I guarantee you it will not; HR does not make those decisions

GS TMT sent us catheters and bed pans so we never have to leave our desk

Long shot but anyone know if MoCo summer analysts will get banker bags...I really really want one but obviously would never ask HR

I've heard desktop computer set-up was sent out for the remote portion of internship and they're providing housing/travel for the in-person portion. Don't know about merch, dinner, or other things like that

The only thing citi gave us so far is a safeword card to access our virtual computers since they didn't want to buy us real ones.
