Piper Sandler Rep 2026 - 2027

Hey all, wanted to get some insight into where Piper Sandler stands in the IB landscape heading into 2027.

Is Piper generally considered an established MM bank, or is it closer to the LMM? How does it stack up against other MM firms like HL, Blair, Baird, and Jefferies?

Is it a strong place to start an IB career in terms of deal experience and exit opportunities? Are exits to PE, private credit, or HFs realistic, or is Piper generally viewed as a step below other MM platforms?

Also curious which groups and offices are considered the strongest at Piper.

Would appreciate any honest takes from people familiar with the firm.
