PJT m&a ny vs Moelis ny

Received 2024 sa offers for both of these firms. Honestly i really liked the conversations i had with people i met at both these firms. Can anyone provide insight into recent exits, culture (how sweaty is moelis ny nowadays? relative to pjt?), and general brand recognition/prestige?

For a summer experience you can't go wrong with either of these firms. Overall both Moelis and PJT are comparable in terms of exits, brand recognition, and while I'd say Moelis is a bit sweatier from what I've heard from friends and PJT's work culture is a bit better (less facetime, etc), PJT is a bit "stuffier" in that the juniors at the firm tend to be a bit more formal and academic. In the longer-run looking at FT, it should be noted that Moelis places you into a coverage group whereas PJT is still generalist, which I'm personally not a fan of (although PJT is thankfully moving away from the generalist program).
