Policy on what time you need to be at your desk? (BofA)

Associates and analysts have recently been getting flagged by their staffers that they are not coming in by 9:30am. Staffer sent a email out last week saying that the only exception to not being at your desk by 9:30am is:

Illness

Vacation

Working past 2am

Just trying to get a sense, is this group specific or a firmwide thing? Are they serious about this policy let’s say I work past 1am and have a 9am call are you still going to give Associates and Analysts a hard time for coming in late? Had an Analyst tell me a staffer gave him a hard time for coming in at 10:30am even though he was working well past midnight and took a call from home before coming in. This has to be abuse at this point. As long as the work gets done, who cares what time people come in?

What are other firms policy on getting into the office?
