Private Equity Advice

The year is 2030, you’ve just entered high school. You’re an ambitious person looking to make it in finance. However, you hear the news from your friends who go to boarding school that CPI just reached out. You’ve worked hard to get into a regional private school and already secured a T30 college offer and a BB offer (BAML/CITI/BARC) for post college grad. But historically, PE recruiting didn’t kick off until 11th grade. You’re fairly prepared for PE and run LBOs for fun during geometry class, but not sure how to case well. Moreover, headhunters haven’t reached out to anyone in your school.

Please, advise on the best path forwards. Is it too late for PE? Should I be transferring to an elite boarding school? Network directly with MM funds since my future group doesn’t really send kids to UMM/MF?
