Product Management to Boutique M&A - help please lol
Hi,
I've worked in product management at startups for a bit over 6 years now, and I'm currently in the market. I'm fortunate enough to have a great friend that is in the position of wanting to start his own boutique M&A firm. He wants to bring me on as someone on his team, and I'm ready to bust my ass and get after it.
I have a econ degree from Bing, I watch stockmarketlive on youtube in the background when i can during market hours, and that pretty much encapsulates the extent of my knowledge/involvement in the industry.
Can you guys offer some advice on resources from someone coming in blank to start consuming knowledge in everything M&A and foundational knowledge. I assume licenses would be involved, any direction on anything that would be helpful and in the pursuit of knowledge would be beyond appreciated. General thoughts and advice would be great too, even if its a reality check. Thank you!
