Proof of diversity

So currently, I’m a sophomore getting ready to apply to banks this spring. I’m trying to apply through the diversity program, but I’m scared I don’t have enough proof. My grandpa was fully Native American. The only problem is that he was an orphan and didn’t have a birth certificate to trace the tribe he was a part of. My grandma and dad are Irish, so I look like a basic white dude. I also heard DNA testing isn’t valid proof. How should I proceed?

Also, my grandpa died when my mom was very young, which is another conflicting factor.

Most of the diversity stuff for banks is based on Self Identification, from the experiences of my peers, if you really believe you are the diversity & not just making it up to grab a seat, no one is going to say anything.

They don’t do any verification or anything like that, if they did it could easily lead to lawsuits. If you “identify” as anything nowadays they have to accept it.

Go ahead and JUMP!
