Quantity of Technical Questions in an Interview
I’m a sophomore studying my ass of with techs rn for possible interviews and was wondering how many technical interview questions are you expected to see in an interview process with banks (BB, MM, Boutique) ?
I haven’t seen a post anywhere online addressing this so I’m curious.
Please let me know.
Thanks!

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Good rule of thumb is, the smaller the firm the more technical the interviews are. That being said for SA just go over the accounting, valuation, DCF and Enterprise/Equity Value guides. At the end of the day though, technicals are a check box. Make sure you actually have good behavioral answers, have a reason for “why this firm” and solid questions to ask at the end.
More like the smaller the firm the less technical
