Has anyone recieved an offer for RBC Capital Markets Global Investment Banking internship? Has anyone been through their recruitment process before and have any info on their recruiting timeline or upcoming super days?
Superday consisted of cocktails the night before with a bunch of analysts/associates. 1. Drink a few beers so you don't look like a weirdo (if you're 21) 2. Don't solely talk about finance and their job at RBC. Last thing you want to talk about after 80 hr work weeks is your job. Try sports, college, grammys, literally anything else
Actual interviews: 3 in Total: 1. Technicals, accounting statements, valuation methods etc. 2. Fit, behavioral questions 3. "case style" How would you value this company based on these comparables etc.
Thanks for the insight. Do you know how large their typical SA class is and how many non-targets they generally take?
I have two friends who received an offer from RBC. On-campus recruiting, for what it's worth.
They usually take about 20 interns for the investment banking class, usually 50% from target core schools and 50% non-targets. (Matthias is 100% correct about the superday process)
