Recruiting or Banking with low gpa due to mental health reasons.

Hi all,

I appreciate y'all reading this.

I am a sophomore at a semi-target school with a decent alumni network. I want to do banking or s&t but my gpa is below 3.5. I also have been diagnosed with depression, and I feel that my grades suffered because of that. I have been working on both issues and I am starting to feel much better, although there is always room for improvement.

I was wondering how should I answer the question why my gpa is low and how can I let the interviewer know that my lower gpa won't be indicative of my work ethic and my performance on the job,

Any kind of advice is greatly appreciated.
