During an interview you will probably be asked why you left and just be honest and say "personal disagreement with x"
Now, spill the beans on what you did. Steamer on the VPs desk? Get drunk and send filthy texts to that female coworker? Photocopy your ass?
Seconded. Inquiring minds want to know.

Hard to give advice until we know what exactly occurred. The diligence process/reference checks can be pretty intense for some firms. If that is the case with the one you're interviewing for (assuming you even get and accept an offer), this will likely see the light of day to the employer anyway.
Do tell.
I'm sure you've heard someone say to you, "don't worry about things you can't control." Just have a short response about your leaving if it comes up.
In this thread: OP doesn't want his mistake to leak out onto the finance world.
Finance world wants to know.
On another note I faced the exact same issue, and I was always upfront about it interviews (only for internships in the past thought, none full-time, might be a different ball-game?). These firms tear apart companies with due diligence, most of them will find out.
Officially, nobody will likely say anything. So, if your new employer just calls HR, they will likely give dates and title. If it affected your U4, it would say that you got fired. Being an intern, that's probably not an issue.
However, if someone in the business line decides to call a friend he knows at the other firm, all bets are off.
New employer: Do you know John Davis? He interned with your firm last year. Old employer: John Davis? The guy who called my wife a whore? Yeah, I know him. Total fuck-wad, don't hire him.
You need to tell us what you did that is giving you this concern.
