REIT to Equity Research to Real Estate Investment Banking
Just finished up freshman year and have an internship in the M&A sector of a mid-size commercial REIT for the summer. My desired job is in Real Estate Investment Banking. I know I have a high chance (alumni connection) of getting an equity research internship for my sophomore summer at a regional equity research firm. Would this set me up for a real estate BB IBD internship my junior year? Or, should I pursue some other finance-related internship for sophomore summer to best my chances.
