Restructuring long-term career path / lifestyle

Anyone have any insight on what it's like to work long-term in restructuring in terms of hours, comp, exit opps etc.? I know coverage and M&A guys have opportunities to move to corp dev type roles at the VP/ED/MD level but does something similar exist for RX bankers? What's the lifestyle like doing RX at the senior level compared to coverage or M&A? Thanks
