I have had a couple really good calls with Associates/VPs that might push my resume, but used my nickname (think John for Jonathan, Abby for Abigail etc.) instead of my legal name on the resume. Would this hurt me as the firm may have trouble connecting my application to the resume that these people are pushing? Should I update these contacts later and let them know I have an updated resume?
