Return Offers

I had my mid term review where I was told I was meeting expectations and all I need to do is get faster and more efficient. Since then (last week) for whatever reason my performance has been absolutely brutal, just been overthinking a lot. If I chill out this weekend, and finish strong over next 3 weeks do I still have the chance at the offer, or am I likely screwed? I appreciate all the feedback. For context, my group is usually pretty good about returning interns and has a spot for everyone they hire; this was made clear to us by those in our group. Additionally, I am in Lev Fin, which is quite technical at my bank.

I really enjoy working here, and don't want to butcher this.

You’re fine - the moment you start overthinking about performance is the moment you shoot yourself in the foot. Re: your personal belief that you were ass for a couple of days - figure out what your problem is, fix it, and move on.

And by no means should you be slowing down/cruising during the last stretch of your internship. Think of every day like an interview. gl
