Return to office - prohibitive Subway crime?

The next couple weeks, banks are returning staff to offices due to the diminishing case count. However, crime in NYC has been on the rise, with a particular focus towards the subway. Will analysts / associates push back against the office return due to heightened crime levels / safety concerns?

Note: I'm looking for any excuse to not go back into the office.

The likelyhood of being violentally attacked on your way to and from your office, while traveling on a busy subway, or via Uber if it's late at night and your firm comps that, is very very low. Stop being soft. I get that you don't want to go into the office but continually asserting that manhattan is dangerous, especially midtown is just some absolutely soft shit. Grow a spine.
