Roast my UK non-target IB SA CV

https://drive.google.com/file/d/19r20c9EZbVGvwzQP…

Hi all, gunning for SA's this year. Currently on placement at a GSK/PFE/JNJ type firm.

As a realist, I will most likely apply to Corporate Banking more so than IB.

Any comments/questions are gladly appreciated.

Haven't read everything in detail, but here are some general comments. First of all, the page is just cramped with information, making it quite difficult to read. You should consider what is actually relevant. A resume is not about listing everything you've done, but about listing things that are actually relevant to the role. I would also place a greater emphasis on what you have accomplished and learned from each experience. You are currently focusing heavily on what you did, but that might not be the most relevant part as your experiences are not within IB. A tip is to have 3-4 bullet points on each experience, capturing:

- What did you do?

- What did you accomplish?

- What did you learn/which skills did you develop?

Secondly, you should definitely look over the overall formatting. Increasing the space between bullet points would go a long way in making it more readable. Make sure that the font sizes are not different throughout the CV. For example, your font size for the description of your university education is larger than the descriptions for all other experiences. Moreover, your section dividers are more right centered than the text for the headlines, so I would definitely make sure that the section dividers align to the left with the headlines. Would also increase distance between your name and the education headline, as it's quite cramped at the top atm. Last point on the formatting is to look over the distance between bullet points and text. For instance, on the logistics experience, the distance between the text and the bullet point for bullet points 3 and 4 is different. Hopefully the input will be helpful.
