RX scene in London/Europe
Hello everyone,
I am finishing my first year at a UK non-target and I am interested in restructuring. I have been able to find a lot of information on the US RX scene, but very little updated info on the RX scene here in London and in Europe in general.
I was hoping someone could shed some light on:
-what are the best RX banks?
-how do these compare in terms of comps/culture/a2a or exit opp?
-do any of these banks allow to internally transfer to the US?
Thank you!
Have heard in terms of dealflow it is HL/PJT followed by RTH/LAZ/MOE, followed by the rest - can’t say if comp works out the same way
Also interested to hear more info on culture/comp and details on dealflow/trajectory e.g. EVR adding to Rx but believe they still mostly do MM deals a rung below the firms above
why the MS?
Agree with above. HL and PJT leaders by far, followed by Laz and Roth (I don't know about Moelis).
I also heard that PWP was growing in this field
Headhunters recognise PJT/HL/LAZ as the top three in london
are you actually a prospect, how do you know HHs ahahah?
I work in one of the big 3 Rx consultancies. pjt and HL are the main ones we deal with.
Edit: moelis is prob the 3rd name that comes to mind after those 2. However obvs case dependent. I don't work on all our cases nor do I know all their details so bit biased with my experience / what is shared
thanks, SB deserved!

we need your input here
No in the space so not sure how I can help. From what I see/hear, PJT/HL are top, maybe Laz 3rd and then Moelis, Rothschild. Evercore/PWP are building their teams but were not great historically.
thanks a lot!
What shops are the best for exiting to a Special Sits/Event Driven HF? Laz, PJT, HL?
