bit easier to move down a level than it would be to go higher but with all things considered, FT recruiting is a grind in any aspect. just be prepared to have a good story and be wary just because its a "no name boutique" doesnt mean that the WLB will be great

 

its sweaty for all parties imo but ur profile matters bc anything can help u when it to Ft like if ur a target, the tier of ur bank, etc

regardless tho, i would say for FT its a mostly luck game because apps come and go super quick and to be in the running u need to be lucky that an existing contact u have happened to tell u , if not that, u gotta be super super good candidate and genuinely "the best" since they usually hiring 1 person so if ur at a lower tier bank, or a dif group, u have a lot to basically prove in the interviews compared to SA where they are looking to fill a class with decent candidates
