I’m summer at a (mid-tier) BB and my buddy from school ended up taking a spot Santander LA. He claims they’re absolutely crushing it. They grind but the team is great with a really good culture and as summers they’re working interesting live deals. Has anyone heard similar things about them?

Have heard mixed things - definitely long hours, most recent I heard quality of deals isn't great despite decent number, could definitely be outdated tho this was closer to late last year. Would take any BB except UBS over them, especially for exit purposes.

Once yall get a bit further along in your careers , you will realize that unfortunately brand matters. I don’t care if it’s ex cs la or whatever former “hitter” joined Santander to build the franchise. Nobody outside of the small handful of people that maybe are friends with those MDs, will care or give any credit whatsoever. To 99% of people that matter, it’s Santander at the end of the day. I would join the worst team at any BB or MM over Santander.
