Scotiabank FT Analyst Interview
Have an interview coming up with them for their NY office. Not disclosing group, but what level of questions should I be expecting?
I know that they aren’t a GS/EVR but they’re growing immensely in the US at such a rapid rate and have poached very notable rainmaker MDs in various coverage groups + Ds + VPs.
From what I can tell, the staffing model seems almost boutiquey with deal flow and lean teams so I’m trying to see if this is gonna be more of a boutique level interview as they need their analysts to hit the ground running.
Would I be fine with what I know from BIWS guides and 400Q, or are there a lot of curveballs?
Scotiabank is in a great place and is growing their ibd division pretty well. Great ratio of hardworking people and good culture. For SA I think it generally sinks more towards the typical guides and 400q, but ft is a bit more market based/cultural fit.
