Should I do a masters at LSE?
hello everyone, to keep things simple the title says it all, I am considering doing a master's at LSE.
I studied economics at a complete non-target in the UK (I graduated in 2018). But due to my good grades and perseverance, I managed to land an internship offer with a small boutique firm in London and I am with them ever since. I like the job and my co-workers however I feel like I want to move to a bigger and stronger firm in London however I haven't been lucky in networking or recruiting in the past few months. Which led me to consider doing a master's or MBA. I ruled out the mba because it's wayyy more expensive than a normal master's which I feel suits me better especially if I decided to do a Ph.D. later in my life. The master's I am considering is in financial/economic history which I really find interesting btw. Do you think it's a good move or i should opt for a more traditional master's in finance or economics? or do you advise me to be more patient with recruiting to bigger banks and to ignore the masters thing? Cheers
Only master worth its money in LSE if you want banking is MSc in Finance.
