Sir/Ma'am in Banking

So, I am a military guy with plans to go in Banking, and recruiting will be coming soon. When talking to more senior guys, like VPs and MDs, should I assume to call them Mr./Ms. X or Sir/Ma'am or just go by their first name right off the bat?

Sir and ma'am are fine, Mr./Ms. are fine. If they ask you to call them Jack or Sally or whatever, do that.

haha poster above is joking. if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can say sir/maam once, then go directly to first name. it is perfectly acceptable to go directly to first name right off the bat though

Let me clarify, I use sir/ma'am or Mr./Ms. generally on meeting someone. 99% of the time people will say, oh, please call me (insert first name here).

Generally just call the person whatever they say their name is.
