Firms are still recruiting, things should wrap up first or second week of October, but that does not mean that all positions will be filled, so keep networking and applying.
Although accelerated interviews and high yields for most BBs and boutiques from their summer analyst classes have squeezed most of the spots, I know that NYU recruiting has begun this past week/should last until early October.
Columbia is full on these weeks, but lots of OCR opportunities have closed their 'request for interview' periods last week.
It all depends on the group. My bulge bracket is in the middle of recruiting, but my specific group only has one spot available...and that will be filled via internal referral.
