After speaking with some people in Equity Sales and Trading, it seems as if 80-90% of their time/workflow is directed at ECM work in hot IPO markets. That being said, I'm curious to hear if anyone has made the transition from Equity Sales to Equity Capital Markets, or knows of any stories.
