Started IB late, should I stay for A2A?

Hey everyone,

I worked for a few years in corporate finance before breaking into banking as a senior analyst. I left corp fin at the associate level, so I took a drop in title when I made the move. I made the jump to get a better shot at F500 corp dev, but I'm wondering if it'll look weird to have the 'demotion' on the resume if I leave at the end of my analyst stint. If you were in my shoes, would you try to stay on for A2A to get the title trajectory back on track, or would it not make much of a difference? Banking has been tough for me health-wise, so I don't want to stay around longer than I need to, but if exiting as an old analyst would look weird vs. at the more age appropriate associate title (and open myself up to a higher title/comp package on the corporate side) I'd be open to it. But on the other hand, I'm not sure if leaving shortly after the promotion would burn bridges in my group, so curious to hear what you all think.
