Startups?

How does one go about finding a partner to build a startup with? My guess would be to either go through business school clubs, network through LinkedIn, or brainstorm with friends. Does anyone have any experience jumping from IB/PE to start up their own business? If so, please share your thoughts and experience.

The best way to do it is to have a very close and intelligent friend(s) who's "timeline" (i.e. 2 years out of undergrad career transition at the same time) who's willing to take a massive gamble to pursue a startup. For most people, this is unlikely lmao. The second best way is probably to just try to immerse yourself in the types of circles that breed intelligent risk-taking types of people. Clubs tend to be shit, linkedin will get you nowhere but disappointment. Try to pursue something by yourself where you can show people a genuine product and use that to recruit a partner who won't feel like they're taking such a blind risk.
