Strong MM in SF vs. Weaker MM in NYC for Exits? Same coverage group

I have two offers in the same coverage group. One is in SF at a stronger MM (think HL/WB/PS caliber) with solid deal flow, M&A exposure, and an established team. The other is in NYC at a lower-tier MM with a newer group, limited deal flow, and little to no M&A.

Comp is basically identical. I'd personally prefer to be on the East Coast.

For exits, would being in NYC outweigh the stronger brand considering they're both still MM. Or does the deal experience and M&A exposure at the SF firm and overall better platform make it the obvious choice here. Just want to hear some people's takes on this,

Yeah that's kind of where I'm at. I want to be in NY long term, but want to exit to PE and exits are limited at the NY firm. I'd definitely need to lateral first before even considering PE from there considering they have no deal flow. What would you lean towards?
