Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know:

While it's tempting to relax after securing your Summer Analyst (SA) offer, many successful candidates use this time strategically to prepare for their internships. Here are some suggestions:

  1. Skill Development:

    • Consider brushing up on technical skills like financial modeling, Excel, and valuation techniques. WSO offers free financial modeling lessons that include DCF, M&A, LBO, and more, which could be a great resource.
  2. Networking:

    • Stay in touch with your future team or alumni at the firm. Building relationships early can help you hit the ground running.
  3. Certifications:

    • If relevant, you could explore certifications like the Series 7 or 63, as some users on WSO have mentioned these can be valuable depending on your role.
  4. Stay Informed:

    • Keep up with market trends and news. Being knowledgeable about the industry will help you stand out during your internship.
  5. Relax, but Strategically:

    • While it's okay to take a break, balance it with productive activities. Overindulging in downtime could leave you unprepared for the intensity of the internship.

Taking this period seriously can set you apart and increase your chances of converting your SA role into a full-time offer.

Fuck off but steer clear of the vandy guy, he's always watching for slurs from the corners

Whos this vandy guy

Been fucking off, skipping classes and homework, chilling all day inside + outside. Trying to get some play

Recruiting timeline in the US definitely has some pros compared to London

Somehow landed an EB offer and still don't really believe it. I almost feel empty without the grind of recruiting, looking back I think I enjoyed the stress. ATP I'm focusing on maximizing my health and physique before Summer (lifting, clearing my face, taking supplements, etc.) since I know the internship will be tough in terms of hours. Is it too soon to start prepping for on cycle hahaha

bro you are literally such a bot and, at this rate, i don't know if you'll ever develop any depth of character
