Summer Intern: Investment SA at Merrill Lynch NYC or Research at Keybanc Capital Markets Cleveland?
Which summer internship would be better for landing a FT at a BB the year after? The Investment SA is specifically under Merrill Lynch, the PWM arm of BofA (but not doing PWM). Thanks!
This is junior year internship? ML obviously has a better name but Key will give you a better skillset for IB and more to talk about in those IB interviews. I’d go Key.

I’d put more weight on where you want to be geographically. I think the experience at Key would be more pertinent to banking, but if you want to be in New York, taking an internship in the city makes it a lot easier to network for a whole summer.
