I'll be watching for sure. My bank used to have a TV in the break room so all the folks in the office would still watch major sporting events on the weekend even if they had to be at work. Others would watch games through live streaming on a spare monitor and just work with on the other.

On average, do analysts generally spend most of their time during the weekends, at the office...or generally speaking, are most of your weekends not spent at the office?

How often do you have weekends "off"?

Bobby,

For me, probably 75% of my weekends I spent 20+ hours in the office. The number would be closer to 90% had deal flow not absolutely tanked in early 2009. I got a good 10-week or so period where I didn't have much work.

The trouble about having weekends off is you generally don't know you have a weekend off until after its over. You're at risk of being staffed on a new deal or receiving an email from someone looking for work at any given time, including Saturday and Sunday. As a result, you can't just go radio silent to the world for a day, even if you go into the weekend with all your work done.
