Does anyone have experience switching groups within an EB? Work at (MOE/LAZ/PWP) and curious if there is the possibility of switching groups before a 3rd year (I know 3rd year switching is possible if spots open up). Specifically, anyone hear of someone switching within the 1st year if you were directly hired for a group?

At Moelis it’s fairly common since everyone is a generalist and can fairly easily move between industries and products. Unless a person is specifically hired for like private funds then I’m not sure.
