Tacky to network for 2019 SA with an IB internship for this summer?
I will be working as a sophomore IB intern this summer for an MM Regional Bank. What's the best way to handle networking with BB's and boutiques in New York? Specifically, expressing interest in an internship with their bank next summer when I haven't even had a single day of work experience at the bank I'll be at this summer. To me, it comes off as using the bank this summer purely for leverage (which is not entirely untrue). Interested to hear how people are handling similar situations.
