Target Schools for Stifel
What are some schools that Stifel recruits from. I'm from the STL region and found out Stifel is based out of STL. I am a community college student studying economics and is transferring in the next two years. Would they consider someone with a degree from a school that's AACSB-Accredited (SLU-Chaifetz, SIUC-CoBA, UMSL-CoBA) and close-ish, or should I look at name-brand schools like Purdue-Krannert, WashU-Olin, or Wisconsin?
Brand name is always better. I don’t know their exact list, but I know they take a bunch of kids from Wharton, Stern, Duke, Ross

Just a heads up bro, it’s gonna be really hard to recruit for IB doing the 2 years at community college path given most recruiting happens before you start your junior year. Also I don’t think stifle actually has a large IB operation in St. Louis, I could be wrong though. Good luck with everything!
I can confirm that Stifel does have investment banking front office team(s) in St. Louis. I have colleagues who worked there and say company culture is terrible. I believe they must wear shirt and tie or suit and tie.
Given its Stifel, you could probably recruit right out of the community college you transferred from.
Update: I did some meditation and think I'll probably go into private client banking, etc., get my MBA and hopefully transition into IB as an MBA Associate.
