Had a director tell me he referred me to the hiring guy, but didn’t receive anything for the last 2 “recent-grad” postings.
So idk if they are legit. Looks more like compliance postings for internal hire.
They’ve already posted internal hire posting weeks ago. They take them down right away, this one still being up means it’s up for the taking. GL gentleman

They were emailing contacts couple weeks prior asking if they were interested. Unless they didn't receive any candidates through that process, I believe its just for compliance

Posting right before the DIG one also didn’t have experienced required but apparently it was for experienced hire as well and had 700+ applicants.
Couldn’t get a first round even with a referral from a different team as a recent grad.
How do you know it was 700+ apps? That’s a lot even for regular tier 1 big 5s

If you’re getting offended by my comment you won’t survive in IB. this is your daily life - constant daily scolding. I’m telling you the truth to help you, you’ve been unemployed for a year move on. It’s not working and that’s fine. Literally it’s more than fine the job is brutal and half of us want to get out but can’t because of lack of feasible exits to make the sunk cost of doing the job worth it. You’re not getting in now or next year. The unemployed new grads get thrown into the trash. Move on and do something else and try IB later on.
