After shameless networking, more than a thousand emails, and primarily, indulging on this forum for who knows how many hours, my dream has become reality. It was only because of the hermits and trolls on this forum, that I was able to land this gig. For that, you virgins have my eternal gratitude.

you may have missed the boat a bit kid, SA 2022 wrapped up, but some top BBs will be recruiting summer (MS, GS, BofA, PJT M&A, etc.)
I’m in the exact same boat. At one point I was laughed at and hung up on because the school I went to. That was during the shameless networking phase which is besides the point.
Point is, people will tell you it’s impossible bc they gave IB a half assed effort and subsequently failed and now they don’t want to see you succeed.
Anyone in the extreme non target and non diversity position.... let these stories give you motivation. You will fail and fall on your face so many times but don’t fucking stop Bc you can do it if you have some tenacity.
